What we do

The Soccer Zone offers a non-competitive, fun, learning environment for children aged 5 and up.
Following our coaching curriculum, the coaches will provide age appropriate sessions designed to either introduce your child to football or for your child to practice and learn new skills.

Who we are

Our head coach, John, is a highly qualified and experienced coach. He has in-depth knowledge of youth football ranging from the fundamental movement skills required by children making their first endeavours in sport right through to the technical requirements of performance coaching as the children progress and refine their football skills.
John was previously involved in the set-up of Football Fever Belfast, a successful coaching programme in North Belfast and is enthusiastic about bringing this experience to The Soccer Zone.
John will be supported by fully qualified assistant coaches.

Where we are

The Soccer Zone is based at the new state-of-the-art 3G pitch, V36, at the Valley Leisure Centre, 40 Church Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 7LJ

When

We run three terms each year, each lasting six sessions. The first of these starts on 13th September 2015. The sessions are every Sunday morning from 10.00am to 11.30am. The cost of each term is £36.
