So Potent Arts is a new theatre company established by artist, author and theatre practitioner Emily Carding. We believe in Theatre as a magical and sacred experience for both audience and actor, an initiatory gateway through which you emerge both entertained and transformed. We believe there are no walls, that there is an intimate energetic connection between audience, actor and the space they perform in. We believe that Shakespeare and other Classical works are fair play for us to do with as we will, (and we will), and that they are for EVERYONE. We believe in gender-blind casting. We believe in the interconnection of all truths in the Universe and that we can explore and express these truths. We believe that if you plant one acorn at a time, an oak forest will grow. We believe that Theatre can change the world.
