Chestnut Farm Alpacas 2.18

Chestnut Farm Alpacas was started in the autumn of 2007, we had our first four females delivered, two of which had cria at foot and the other two were pregnant and due to birth in the spring, it was such an exciting day.
From then on it has been a journey of highs and lows, but not one of regret, we have built our herd up to a grand total of thirty three at the moment.
We had seven births here last year and we also had seven of our alpacas go to new homes.
Last year we also attended a number of shows, with a small show team of three, it was a very successful year with my two younger members of the show team, Chestnut Farm Dizzy Lizzy and Chestnut Farm Razzle Dazzle coming away with numerous placings, to top that off my Adult White Male Chestnut Farm Lord of Sherwood was awarded Supreme Champion twice.
We had three births here this year.
This year we attended a number of shows with Chestnut Farm Lord of Sherwood's first offspring and were thrilled when all of them received placings, with Chestnut Farm Cassie being placed 1st twice and also being awarded Champion White Female twice.
All of us here at Chestnut Farm are delighted with this and are looking forward to the future and to see what next years cria bring.
