Zouk Dance Academy is created by Jean Goh (formerly the director of Two Left Feet).

Jean, a.k.a. DJ Yen, is proficient in both leading and following in Salsa, Bachata, Brazilian Zouk and other Latin street dances. She has been dancing as both a leader and follower since 2001. In 2004, together with a partner, she founded the Two Left Feet dance school; one of the most established Salsa schools in Singapore. They later introduced Brazilian Zouk to Singapore, with the help of Alisson Sandi Rodrigues in 2008. Since May 2013, Jean has been conducting Zouk classes on her own, covering both leading and following techniques.

Having invested much time in private lessons with some of the world's most respected and popular Zouk dancers, Jean's dance style (as a lead) is based on strong foundations in the Rio-Zouk style, a blend of traditional and present-day moves, and most notably, a wide array of creative body manipulation techniques. She is particularly accomplished at expressing the music through manipulation of her partner's body movements.

Being of small stature, Jean often encounters followers of similar size or bigger. She has developed leading techniques that are effective without using much strength or force, a skill she imparts to all her students.

Jean continually seeks progression in dance through investing in private classes in Pilates and Ballet, and private lessons with renowned Zouk professionals, such as:

Jean's students are a testament to her ability as an instructor; in particular, her aptitude for analyzing movements, diagnosing problem areas, and imparting the skills necessary for her students to become great social dancers. They display a good foundation in the dance, while exhibiting their own personal style. Notable achievements include:
