Ngamotu Splash n' Dash

Wednesday evenings starting on the 30th of November then on the 14th Dec, 11th Jan, 25th Jan, 8th Feb, and 22nd Feb 2017. Based at Ngamotu Beach, New Plymouth.

Registration at the beach between 5:15-5:45pm.
Race Briefing at 5.45pm.
Short Start (7-13yrs): 6pm

Two events:

Short-distance event for the young and beginners;
Swim: 100-200m, (Parallel to shore)
Run/Walk: 1km.

Long-distance event;
Swim: 500-1000m,
Run/Walk: 2-4km.

The distances will vary each week.
The run will be on the footpath and road side.

Entry will be $10 per adult each week or $50 for the series, and $5 per student each week (25 for series).

Spot prizes will be up for grabs each week!
Results will be posted here after each race.

Collect points based on your placing over the series to become the 2017 Ngamotu Splash n' Dash Champion in the categories of Male and Female:
- Short Course Junior (Under13),
- Long Course Under 18,
- Long Course Open and
- Long Course Masters (40+).

Collect 5 points for the win, 4 for second, 3 for third, 2 for fourth and 1 point for every other position. Must finish at least three races to be eligible.

Choose a Club to compete for in the Inter-Club Competition. The club with the most points at the end of the series will be announced the 2017 Ngamotu Splash n' Dash Club Champions and rewarded a trophy.
