Sabhari is a not for profit organization dedicated for the upliftment of the deprived mass of Odisha.

We, at Sabhari work for the deprived masses with the following objectives---

:• To provide facilities of basic education, health and sanitation to the poor and neglected schedule cast and schedule tribe children
• To work for the protection and promotion of the tribal language, culture through arrangement of tribal festivals and awareness programs
• To work for protection of the human rights and other statutory rights of the tribal people through awareness programs
• To focus on neglected children of the society in general and eliminate infant mortality, child malnutrition, child labour, child trafficking and child abuse in particular through provision of education and rehabilitation .
• To promote the development of culture, awareness and sports activities among the tribal youths.
• To promote education, especially girl education for eradication of gender inequality
• To make people aware about right to information and enable them to fight against corruption.
• To promote use of information & communication technology (ICT) for integration of rural areas .
• To organize training programmers in the matter of rural development .
• To organize lectures, seminars, symposiums, workshops and conduct research for promotion of agriculture and rural development.
• To promote cultivation of medicinal plants for increasing the base of our traditional practice of health system.
• To work on rural sanitation, drinking water supply and community health including management of community health center.
• To undertake projects on watershed development and management on the basis of latest conservation technologies for strengthening and reorienting the production system in dry land areas .
• To undertake projects on forestry, wasteland development and organic farming for increasing productive resources and climatic moderation.
• To promote agricultural activities concerning supply of industrial raw materials.
• To undertake free legal aid programs in order to provide legal awareness to the uneducated people.
• To promote agro-waste management.
• To promote rural service and counseling centre for providing direct and indirect support to farmers , artisans , SHGs , and user groups .
• To promote social and economic relevance of women through social and economic empowerment.
• To take up welfare activities for physically challenged and old age persons.
• To promote rural housing for the weaker section
• To encourage collectives of weaker segments of producers in the form of farmers club self help group, joint liability group or self help co-operative, through collective control of infra resources, collective action for upward social mobility and graduate these into specialized production association .
• To undertake programs for eradication of pollution and protection of the environment .
• To undertake and to help with all its possible means to do research work to its members and other scholar for general interest of the society and the country as well.
• To organise cultural programmes, libraries, to aware people on rural development and to promotes their basic knowledge.
• To establish orphanage in order to rehabilitate the orphan children through necessary arrangement of their shelter, food, clothing, education and health facilities .
• To establish old age home in order to rehabilitate the old people who do not have any one to take care of or who are being neglected by their children .
• To establish short stay homes for the rehabilitation of the widow and destitute women.
• To undertake relief in natural calamities with Government and Non-Government Organisation help.
