Bodyright Physiotherapy Clinic in Phibsboro, Dublin 7, have brought the newest form of cryotherapy (ice therapy) to the city’s sports and recovery arena.

The Cryotherapy Spa is the modern version of the ice bath, where water temperature is controlled for optimal desired physiological responses, whilst adding a vigorous massage effect and a high essential salts concentration.

Research has shown the Spa’s effectiveness for athletes training at a moderate or intense level to help prevent or increase recovery from injuries.

It involves immersion in cold water (set between 2 - 6 degrees) up to your desired level (legs, waist or shoulders) for up to 10mins.
