The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health represents a partnership between the four Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Services within South East Queensland;

This facebook page allows everyone to share and celebrate the achievements and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders.

This site will be moderated to ensure discussions remain within acceptable boundaries regarding:

1. confidentiality and privacy
2. relevance to the topic
3. discriminatory and offensive content.

We will delete content that breaches these Guidelines for Social Media Participants.

Confidentiality and privacy

Please ensure that you:

- protect your personal privacy and that of others by not including names, email addresses, private addresses or phone numbers in your comments
- do not divulge personal information about others without their permission
- represent your own views and do not impersonate or falsely represent another person
- have obtained the appropriate permissions from people when posting images or video in which they appear
- do not post material that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

Relevance

Please ensure that you:

- post material that is relevant to the discussion topic. Inclusion of any links, images or videos on this site does not constitute official endorsement by the Institute,
- do not post multiple versions of the same content
- do not promote commercial interests on the forum
- do not promote or post overtly political content
- do not re-post other people’s appeals, requests or offers, or anything that could be considered as spam.

Discrimination and offensive content

Please ensure that you:

- do not abuse, harass or threaten others — we want everyone to be comfortable using this forum
- be mindful when posting descriptions or personal stories that they are not gratuitously graphic, or could be deemed as deliberately upsetting for other users
