The Queensland Masonic Choir (QMC) was established approx. 1930 and is one of the oldest male choirs in Queensland. It numbers have ranges from 20 -35 members and presently have approx. 20 members. All members enjoy their music and perform selections from sacred, musical comedy and light to grand opera. The choir is always building up a new repertoire of popular and sacred music under its Choirmaster and Conductor Gary Young.

The choir has a large number of members that travel from afar places for rehearsals and performances from Oakey, Toowoomba, Gatton, Lockyer Valley and many eastern bayside suburbs.

Rehearsals are every Thursday night at 6.30 - 8.30 in Brisbane in Grand Hall, Ann Street, Masonic Centre.

The choir is known for its yearly performance at the Masonic Anzac service held in the Grand Hall in Brisbane. Also their performances take them to Masonic ceremonies, public concerts, recitals, weddings and funerals.

Past Q.M.Choir performances have been at Jondaryan for the Australian Heritage Music Festival also for the Celebration 30 years Vietnamese settlement in Queensland.
It has also performed for the church service for the ‘Battle of Britain’ 50 years commemorative service .

Over the last four years the Choir has released three CD’s. with the latest a live concert from the Sandgate Masonic Centre.
The Choir is always looking for new members. There is no audition and you don’t have to read music, but enjoy the musical company of fellow freemasons.
