Thubelihle Junior Secondary School is selective and does not discriminate on basis of sex, race, colour or national or ethnic origin in the administration of education or admission policies and other school-administered programs.
Thubelihle junior secondary school is located in historic White City continues to serve a diverse student population. Currently our students are about 100% African, with the following languages as leading Languages, Sotho, Xhosa and Zulu.

Our school seeks to create a unique school culture that emphasises educating the whole child within a context of academic and cultural excellence. Culturally relevant pedagogy is the foundation from which students accept and affirm their cultural identity while developing critical perspective that challenges inequities.

Thubelihle Junior Secondary School students participate in a nutrition program that provides free meals to all our students. Our school provides an incentive program where students are able to earn free computer and internet service, school-wide drumming and art classes, School Choral Choir, Debate, Soccer & Cricket field, an after school program with intervention & homework support.

The school has a total enrolment of 302 learners, who are all of African origin. The learners are coming from low socio-economic backgrounds, geographically they are from the old Soweto Township (White City).
