Savannah Wildsplaas 3.81

In April 2009, a dream became a reality when we purchased the farm Savannah, situated between Marble Hall and Roedtan in the Limpopo Province. This 1300 hectare of mixed bushveld was perfect for the breeding of game. In November 2013 we expanded by purchasing the farm, Pax.
Our love for nature and sound business principles soon grew into a business. We visited some of the top game breeders in the industry, observed their techniques and gained knowledge from them. With careful planning and selection we were then able to start our own breeding herds.
Savannah is now home to a wide variety of exotic game like the Zambian Sable, Zambian X Sable, Black Impala, Golden Wildebeest and also Buffalo and Njala.

Our breeding of Black Impala and Golden Wildebeest does not include a split program.
Consequently, we only breed with pure Black Impala and Golden Wildebeest.
From the game breeder of the year 2013, Ellalien Davey of Romaco Ranch and from Durandt Botha we purchased our Golden Wildebeests.
In order to broaden the gene pool, our Black Impala herd, originates from four different breeders among others Johan van der Merwe en Kruger van Zyl.
Our Zambian Sables were purchased from Thaba Tholo and Dries Visser,
while the X Sables were acquired from the well known Henry van Staden, Hannes Maree and Piet Warren.
We strive to breed only top quality fertile animals that will be able to adapt on any farm.
