Litchi Catering was established in early 2010 by classically trained Silwood School of Cookery graduate, Dohné Green.
Dohné has spent the better part of her professional career working as a private chef, for the likes of well known families such as Dianna Stuttaford, Raymond Burton, Charles Spencer and Val Metter, and many local and international celebrities in a private cheffing capacity. She has also been involved in prominent events like the Table of Unity in 2002, the FNB Big Walk, the J&B Met, the Opening of Parliament and the Volvo Ocean Race. To put it simply, she knows all about fine dining, refined tastes and high profile events.

Her other exciting culinary adventures have included owning her own restaurant, running the Kalk Bay Theatre & Kitchen, and consulting for various coffee shops and restaurants. These experiences have given her a keen understanding of the industry and the tools required to handle any gastronomic challenge.

Dohne has also catered extensively for athletes, people with special nutritional needs and dietary requirements, and people who require calorie-restricted eating plans. A young mom herself, Dohne enjoys creating healthy and affordable meals for families.

Her versatility and experience in the food industry has allowed Dohne to tailor Litchi Catering into an entity that provides great value and satisfaction for each of her clients. Dohné prides herself on her diversity and her ability to tantalise her clients’ taste buds. Her hearty laugh, warm personality and strong leadership ensure she can manage a team of chefs to handle an event of any size and scope and make her an absolute pleasure to have around.
