Eric David Karangwa was born in Rwanda in 1983. Left the country 1994 to Tanzania where he leaved in Refugee camp until 1996. In 1997 he was in Zimbabwe where he attended High School.
As far he can remember, he started sketching at age of 6. In 2004 he left Zimbabwe and moved to South Africa, and he stared working as car guard at Constantia Village Shopping Center. He started to paint in 200, in 2010 he decided to take his painting to the Garellies owners to be criticised.In 2014 the Constantia Village Management gave him an apportunity to exhihibit at Constantia Village Shopping Center, which was his first exhibition. On his fisrt exhibion he met one South African international artist Andrew Cooper. Andrew Cooper advises Eric on everything from brush techiniques to thebusiness side of being an artist. Until today Andrew Cooper still his mentor.
Eric David Karangwa is natual gifted artist who is inspiered by Cape Town mountains and its oceans. Indian ocean and atlantic ocean.
