Yaarab Shriners 4.83

Yaarab Shriners is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth, and relief. There are nearly 200 temples located throughout the world and hundreds of thousands of members. Men who wish to become Shriners must first join the fraternity of F&MA Freemasonry and achieve the status of Master Mason.

Yaarab's Past Potentate Forrest Adair was integral in founding Shriners Hospitals for Children in 1920. Yaarab Shriners continue to support our now 23 hospitals throughout the world by volunteering at the hospitals, assisting patients’ families with transportation, raising funds, voluntarily serving on hospital boards and much more. Throughout history, both the Freemasons and Shriners have had a reputation for secrecy, but our mission is straightforward:

• Be the premier fraternal organization for men of good character.

• Provide attractive, quality programs and services for its members and their families and friends.

• Foster self-improvement through leadership, education, the perpetuation of moral values and community involvement.

• Serve mankind through its support of Shriners Hospitals for Children.
