The Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church located in the Colonial Beach Virginia community, just east of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our church is easily accessible from anywhere in the Westmoreland and King George Counties. Our church facilities are located in downtown Colonial Beach. We will soon be relocationg to a beautiful 9.5 acre parcel on Route 205 near the borders of Westmoreland and King George Counties.

Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church has been a part of the Westmoreland community for more than 30 years. As a local church, our main emphasis is a Bible-centered ministry which endeavors to work with families to Help Build Christian Homes by: (1) presenting God's plan of salvation so everyone can understand, (2) teaching the Word of God in a practical way so that Christians may grow and (3) sending out missionaries to establish local churches around the world. If you do not have a church home in the area, we hope you will prayerfully consider Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church. The Future at WIBC
Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church (WIBC) purchased 9.5 acres in 2002. God graciously supplied the monies and to date we have had the opporutnity to clear the land, and complete an approved site plan.

Our pastor and the trustees of WIBC are currently in the process of selecting an acrchitect and a general contractor.We broke ground on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2011.

We have asked our church family to give toward this building program sacrificially. We are also looking to others for donations whether they are individuals, churches, or foundations.
