Welcome Pastor Patrick B. Walker

The Pastor Search Committee is pleased to announce that Patrick Walker has accepted the call to become our new pastor. He has relocated his family and began in the pulpit November 2nd!
Pastor Walker grew up in northern Delaware and is coming to us after living in St. Johnbury, Vermont. He and his wife, Kristyn, are blessed to have four young children.
Patrick holds a B.S. degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and three post-graduate degrees including a Masters of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary.
He has just completed an 18-month pastoral internship at Union Baptist Church in Vermont. Prior to his time in Vermont, he was Pastor of The Fellowship Church, a church-plant in Lynchburg, Virginia and Associate Pastor of Evangelism/Discipleship at Restorative Family Church located in Lynchburg as well. In addition to these positions, Patrick has previously served in other ministry roles including as a College Ministry Leader at both the University of Delaware and with Liberty University Athletics, as well as Assistant Camp Director/Counselor for two summers with Camp Elpis in Alta Vista, Virginia.
Before entering into the ministry, Pastor Walker spent four years in the military as an infantry sergeant with the 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger REgiment stationed out of For Benning, Georgia.
In college, Patrick enjoyed ministering to his teammates as Captain of the wrestling team and as a NCAA Division 1 HWT wrestler.

Both Patrick and Kristyn are in their early thirties.
