The critically acclaimed and award winning VERSES: THE OPEN MIC EXPERIENCE presented by Upside Marketing, is Richmond Virginia’s longest running poetry event, and the base of the Verses crew consisting of poets, lyricists, and singers. Verses has been featured in almost every major news magazine in the city of Richmond from the cover of the Richmond Times Dispatch, to the featured pages of Style weekly (an award winning local entertainment magazine). With the critical acclaim and growing fan base Verses has expanded. You can experience the movement in Richmond, Virginia and Washington D.C.! The cost to attend verses is $7 and it takes place weekly from 8pm-12am.
