The Tahoma Indian Center provides a safe alcohol and drug free environment for the Urban Native American Indians in Pierce County. We provide daily meals, mail/telephone service, laundry facilities, computer access, and community building for vulnerable Native people who require assistance in social service requests such as DSHS, housing, employment, food banks, energy assistance, identification cards, and health care. TIC engages guests around traditional spiritual events and cultural activities. Beginning sometime in February 2014, we plan on providing sober housing services.
