Lake County Firefighters serve the unincorporated areas of Lake County, as well as provides service to the Town of Lady Lake. Lake County Firefighters serve out of 23 stations covering 1,100 square miles of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural properties. There are close to 200 firefighters that comprise this largest fire rescue department in Lake County called Lake County Fire Rescue. Our apparatus is comprises of Engines, Tankers, a Tower, Squads, Brush & Woods trucks. We respond to all medicals, all structure, brush and vehicle fires, all vehicle accidents, as well as provide hazmat and a special operations team for the entire county. Lake County Firefighters are also part of the Florida Task Force Team that responds to catastrophic events around the state.
