NJMS EMIG 2.41

The Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) is a student-run group that promotes and explores the field of Emergency Medicine.
The goal of EMIG is to promote awareness of all aspects of Emergency Medicine and to provide educational opportunities for medical students interested in Emergency Medicine. The group offers a few procedure workshops each year, several meet-and-greet opportunities with area residency programs and is engaged in outreach programs to the community. There is a lecture series that addresses current topics in emergency medicine with guest speakers from many different areas of expertise in emergency medicine.
More advanced workshop and lecture opportunities such as point of care ultrasound and simulation wars, as well as, mentoring and guidance through the residency application process, is available through the mentoring arm of the NJMS EMIG.
