Logan at RE/MAX Structure 2.09

I wanted to write a long story on here and quickly found I ran out of space...just the long story sounds so much better than the short. I suppose you wouldn't want to read that much about me anyways.

So, long story short... I went to college (University of Northern Colorado) straight out of high school like so many do, against my better judgment. Outside pressures convinced me it was the thing to do if I wanted a life of happiness and abundance, and really it seemed like I had to to have any life of meaning at all. Ironically it made me the most miserable I can recall ever being in my earlier years. I gave it up and did what I had dreamed of...SNOWBOARD BUM!!! My god was that a good idea!!

That was my first lesson in the joy that follows from listening to your own heart and gut. What some might call your intuition. I figured maybe a year would do while i figured out what the hell I was going to do with my life.

About 6 years later (haha ya that year I planned on was a bit extended) my decision to move to the mountains lead me to life long friends, incredible connections all over the world, and my now wife who I met on the chairlift of Arapahoe Basin ski resort. It was a great life experience and I learned so much about myself.

I love people, I love helping and serving, I love brightening another's day. Nothing motivates me more than making others happy. I have a strong curiosity of the motivations of others and why people do what they do, especially why I do what I do and I have a love of questioning myself more than I do of others. I have a unique ability for empathy and a deep compassion. One compliment I get time and time again is "Logan you are one of the most genuine people I have ever known".

I believe it was at about 25 years old I began thinking about how I could contribute a little more to others, or put my talents and passions to work, or as my mom says "your frontal cortex finally started kicking in". THANKS MOM! I began my exploration of business's and professions that fit my personality, motivations, and would allow me to provide for my soon to be family in the way I desired to. My Dad had set the bar high in providing for ones family when I was growing up and gave me standards I aim to achieve. And my mother was amazing, no doubt I was a mamma's boy growing up.

During my exploration a good friend shared an idea with me that seemed to be what I was looking for. He Introduced me to a Network Marketing company and I quickly fell in love with the mission and stories of how it positively impacted peoples lives. I jumped right into one of the best learning experiences I have had in my life. Network Marketing had introduced me to the world of business and entrepreneurship like no other. Unfortunately, because of pending legal issues and a law suit the company temporally was shut down and resulted in the disbandment of the entire group I had been working with. The company did survive the battle and after a long court process came back, but the damage to our team had been done. I had to move on. I say unfortunately, but if it hadn't happened I wouldn't be where I am now. The irony of misfortune is sometimes it can be the best dang thing to happen to you.

I am incredibly grateful for the experiences and fundamental foundation I was able to embody from network marketing and how well it set me up for the world of business ownership. After many years of suggestion and exploring real estate I began to have that feeling of excitement I had when I thought about my life as a snowboard bum. The heart and gut once again was telling me this is it. Seeing so many people being under-served, hearing the horror stories, having some experiences of my own, I saw a huge opportunity and launched into real estate. I knew it was a good fit as soon as I started classes for my license.

In an industry full of part-timers, hobbyist, and down right laziness, where people look for guidance, support, and education on one of the largest financial transactions they will make in their lives, I saw an opportunity to bring my genuine desire to want to serve and help others in a major area of their lives. I am hear for you! Meet me just once, and you will know this is a guy who is hear to truly be of service and help you. You are not just a transaction to add to my sales volume. You are a person and you are deserving of a true professional that has morals, integrity, and compassion for where you are coming from and where you are going. If I wouldn't put mom in the position I am not going to put you in it.

So about a year and a half into this business now, winning a rising star award, earning my Master Certified Negotiation Expert designation, accumulating the required continuing education and more of someone who has been in the industry for many many years, and serving several amazing people, I am so happy to have found this industry and am committed for life.
