In 2010 El Barrio Mexican Grill opened with the intent of providing the Mid Town neighborhood with a high quality restaurant and a great spot for families to enjoy a meal. We are proud to say that over the last seven years, we have served over 700,000 meals to our guests and maintained a 99 percent customer satisfaction (based on surveys). As well, we have donated more than $50,000 to local nonprofits.

However, the time has come to close El Barrio Mexican Grill and prepare for a new opportunity at this space. The restaurant's last day of operation was Monday, Jan. 30, 2017.

We have many people to thank for the success of the last seven years. First and most important is our loyal customer base. Without whom none of our work would have mattered. Secondly, we need to thank our staff for their hard work over the years. We are very proud of everyone that worked so hard to serve our guests. Thank you for all you did.

We are also appreciative of the strong working relationship that developed between the restaurant's ownership and the establishment's management company. This partnership developed into a friendship centered on providing terrific dining experiences for Mid Town patrons.

Due to the strong bond that developed between the two parties, Restaurant Partners ownership has extended an offer to every current staff member to apply for positions at other Restaurant Partners establishments. So, we are hopeful this transition will not result in any job loss.

Again, thank you to all the friends we have made these last seven years. It has been a pleasure to bring this dining concept to the growing Mid Town neighborhood and look forward to the new opportunity that awaits this location.
