Don't be put off by the Zumba images you may have seen, en-route to this page. My students are real people, just like you and me. They come in the form of grandmothers, new mums, 6th formers and everything in between! We are a friendly bunch so please don't feel afraid to come along.
I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder back in 2006 and I use Zumba to help me manage my condition. The fantastic thing about Zumba is that it releases endorphins which help to combat low mood and anxiety. But all exercise can do this! The beauty of Zumba is that it's fresh and addictive which is why I never get bored of it - managing an illness is only effective if the management strategies are achievable!
