Situated in the Llyn Peninsula Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Ysgubor Bach stands alone half way between the historic village of Aberdaron and the beautiful beach at Porth Oer (Whistling Sands), and between Mynydd Anelog and Mynydd Ystum.
It is approximately 3/4 mile from local shops, cafes, public houses and beaches and an ideal location for those wishing to get away from it all and be within easy access to all amenities.

There are 4 bedrooms to the first floor comprising one double with en-suite facilities, one further double-bedded room, one twin bedded room, and a room furnished with bunk beds suitable for children (over six years on the upper bunk) and young adults. Also on this floor is a family bathroom with toilet, hand-basin, and bath, and a separate shower room.
The ground floor offers a fitted kitchen with slate floor, utility room, toilet, and fully furnished open plan lounge with a multi-fuel stove in a large inglenook fireplace, There is also a comfortable south-facing conservatory with outstanding views of Aberdaron bay and the Gull Islands. To the western side wonderful views across open farmland to Mynydd Anelog can be enjoyed.
There is ample parking for up to 3 vehicles, to the front of the house there is a patio area with seating, and to the side of the property a large secure grassed area with trees.
First Mentioned as a place to stay in the first tourist guide to Aberdaron in 1910, it is said that a frequent visitor was Richard Robert Jones (Dic Aberdaron 1780-1843) who lived in a house across the nearby field, and a commemorative slate plaque can be found close by.
