Hello and Welcome to the Weymouth & District's Model Engineering Society Facebook Page.



Whether you are a highly accomplished model engineer or a complete novice, whether young or old, there will always be a warm welcome to new members to our club. Our philosophy is one of enjoying a hobby in the company of good friends and having an opportunity to learn new skills. You do not have to own your own locomotive to join us, as the club has two, which members can use once suitably qualified.

We meet on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings in our club room which is part of the Budmouth Technology College.
Throughout the year we have a club 'steaming day' on the first Saturday of the month, and in the summmer months we attend various local events with our portable track.
