I qualified as a Holistic & Complementary Therapist in 2000 and have been practicing for over twelve years. I am continuing with my professional training and research while practicing as a therapist. I adapt treatments to my clients needs. Holistic Therapy is about treating the whole person including psychological, physical, social and spiritual needs. Complementary Therapy works alongside conventional medicine. Free and confidential consultations are available for new clients before treatment. The treatment room is set in a relaxing and calming environment and I offer a professional and friendly approach. The treatments are suitable for men, women and children.

Aromatherapy
£50 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 to 90 minutes)
A very gentle, relaxing and uplifting massage from head to toe using a variety of aromatherapy essential oils which are extracted from plants. The properties from the essential oils enter through the skin where they are absorbed in to the blood stream and circulated around the body. The combination of oils used vary depending on the client’s needs and may be beneficial to the following systems of the body: circulatory, digestive, endocrine, immune, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, skeletal, and urinary. Aromatherapy may also help with many conditions including muscular problems, skin complaints, stress and anxiety.

Back Stress Massage
£30 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 minutes)
This treatment starts by massaging the back with long soothing strokes. Then the massage can be tailored from gentle and relaxing to invigorating deep tissue or a combination of both. The chest, neck, face and head are massaged.

Massage treatments with Hot Stones
These wonderfully nurturing and relaxing treatments have been influenced by many ancient cultures including the Chinese and Native Americans. A combination of massage by hand and special black volcanic rocks (Basalt) which are flat, smooth and retain heat. Massages can be tailored from gentle and relaxing to invigorating deep tissue treatments or a combination of both. Benefits can include improved circulation and lymphatic drainage, reduces fatigue, increases energy levels, relieves tension and stress.

Back Stress Massage with Hot Stones
£40 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 minutes)
This treatment starts by massaging the back by hand with long soothing strokes. Followed by a combination of hands and hot stones. The chest, neck, face and head are massaged with hands and hot stones.

Full Body Hot Stones Massage
£55 (Length of treatment: Approximately 90 minutes)
The body is massaged at first by hand and then a combination of hands and hot stones.

Cellulite Treatment
£40 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 minutes)
A vigorous massage focusing on the legs, thighs and buttocks. It is recommended that clients are assessed prior to treatment as general health needs to be taken into consideration.

Gentle Spinal Touch
£25 (Length of treatment: Approximately 20 minutes)
Before each treatment starts an assessment is made of the posture using a plumb line so that any postural distortion can be identified. The therapist can then adapt the treatment to the client’s specific needs. The aim is to bring the spine into mechanical balance through muscle relaxation by lightly touching areas of the back, spine, abdomen, shoulders and head. Once the body is re-aligned with its centre of gravity the client should feel that their overall health is improved and levels of energy are increased. This is a relaxing treatment and uses no more pressure than you would put on an eyelid and does not involve any heavy manipulation techniques. A minimum of six treatments is recommended at £25 per treatment.

Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage
£30 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 minutes)
This is an intensive treatment focusing only on the head, neck and shoulder area. It is a combination of both gentle and relaxing to invigorating deep tissue massage.

Holistic Facial
£40 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 minutes)
A gentle, relaxing and soothing facial massage using reflex points on the face. The treatment can be tailored to the client’s needs including use of hot stones and face mask. This may help sinuses drainage, improved lymphatic drainage, muscle and skin tone.

Indian Head Massage
£30 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 minutes)
The upper back, neck, head and face are massaged to release stress and clear blocks in energy channels. These blocks can cause a build-up of negative energy. This soothing treatment helps to relieve tension, headaches and increases circulation. Traditionally the client is sitting down during the treatment but if preferred can be lying down with the use of hot stones during treatment.

Reflexology
£35 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes)
A special gentle pressure massage is applied to reflex points on the soles of the feet. These reflex points are linked to other areas in the body and by massaging these points the Reflexologist believes this to have a positive effect on the corresponding body parts. Reflexology treats the person as a whole and not just their symptoms. This is a deeply relaxing massage for the feet and should not tickle or feel uncomfortable.

Reiki
£30 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes)
This simple but very relaxing Japanese treatment is great for stress reduction, relaxation and can help to promote healing. The practitioner transfers universal life energy through their palms by placing their hands non-intrusively onto the client at various points on the body. There is no need to undress for this treatment as the ki (energy) will pass through clothing.

Sports Massage
£50 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 minutes)
This invigorating deep tissue massage is specifically designed to help support athletes during training for an event and to help speed up recovery and healing post event.

Therapeutic Massage
£40 (Length of treatment: Approximately 60 minutes)
This is a tailored massage which can focus more on specific areas depending on the clients requirements. Ranging from gentle and relaxing to invigorating deep tissue massage or a combination of both.

Thermo-Auricular Therapy
£30 (Length of treatment: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes)
This treatment starts with the use of hot stones to massage the neck, head and shoulders. Hopi ear candles are then used, which are hollow and made from cotton, beeswax, honey and are packed with a special combination of powdered herbs. When burnt they give off a calming aroma and crackling sound. The candle is lit and held in place by the practitioner while the client lies on their side and relaxes. A gentle vacuum is created which circulates vapours and warmth from the candle into the ear canal and draws out ear wax and impurities. This treatment is believed to help balance the pressure in the inner ear, remove excess ear wax, clears the nasal passages and sinuses, may help with tinnitus, headaches and migraine.
