UEA Electronic Music Society 2.62

The UEA Electronic Music Society provides a space where fans and creators of electronic music can enjoy, share and collaborate together. Whether you like drum and bass, house, dubstep, jungle, techno, garage, reggae, trap, trance or any other form of electronic music, we’re the society for you!

As a society, we organise regular electronic music nights in Norwich and around the country! The Norwich music scene is thriving and as a member of the Electronic Music Society you will not only be up to date on the best events in the city, you will receive discounted entry into some events (easily earning your membership money back!) and will also be surrounded by enthusiastic, likeminded people up for a good night out. With regular pre-drink meet-ups (alcohol optional, of course) where our resident DJ will be pumping out the tunes, you will never struggle for friends to go with. We also aim to go to some of the top music nights out around the country including London, Cambridge and Nottingham.


Not only do we go to events as a society, we also aim to organise our own events where our DJs, producers and organisers will have a chance at showcasing their skills in creating an event!
For those interested in creating music we provide a base for DJs and producers to collaborate and receive feedback. If you have a mix or track to share, the EMS community has feedback to provide. If you’re new to DJing or production, we’ve got you covered with workshops led by our more experienced members and professional DJs/ Producers from Norfolk. And if you want to get your music heard, by next semester we aim to have a weekly show on livewire where our DJs can do live mixes!

Most importantly this society is a place for all you electronic music fans to meet each other and share some amazing memories! So get your bass face on and be part of our community!
