Tops Day Nursery, at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, opened on 23rd February 2004 in a brand new, purpose built, single storey building on Southwick Hill Road, Cosham, surrounded by playareas that enable all children to access them from their play rooms.

The nursery is registered for 99 children aged 0-11. The nursery went out to public tender in 2003 and Tops won the tender against stiff competition.

The nursery is not only for hospital staff but also for local families. All recognised childcare vouchers are accepted.
