The Stute Bowls Club 2.91

The start of something new:
Brian Ball, Bill Wilson, and Terry White visited the old Hallam Fields bowling green at the beginning of 2000. It had become overgrown and was poorly maintained but the potential was there to be seen. So, despite this they decided that they would take on the task to promote their vision to fellow bowlers in the local area and hopefully get enough interest and players to be able to call themselves a club. It took a while, but by April the foundations were set and the Stute Bowls Club became the reality of it all where they were then ready to join leagues and compete at a level that the club has sustained since being founded.
