The Smugglers Hostel 3.24

Based in charming Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands, and part of the famous Glenlivet Estate, The Smugglers offers incredible access to some of the most spectacular areas of the Cairngorm National Park. We are surrounded by mountains, glens, wildlife, whisky, cycling, walking, snowsports and much, much more!

The hostel has great facilities, including a large communal kitchen, dining area and comfortable seating. There is also a drying room and secure storage for bikes, as well as washing and drying facilities. Whether you are travelling alone or as part of a group you can be assured a warm welcome and comfortable stay.

There are two 6 bed dorms and one 4 bed. We also have an en-suite room which sleeps 4 - ideal for families or a small group.

The Smugglers is an independent hostel run by the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust. This means that all profits go back to the rural economy, so by staying with us you are supporting the local community!
