The Sewing Barn 2.87

The Sewing Barn offers sewing classes in Patchwork and Quilting and Soft Furnishings. Classes are for complete beginners and people with more experience. Classes are weekly and /or monthly. I try to be very flexible with attendance and if you have to miss a class we can arrange an alternative day/date to suit.
As well as the regular classes I have one off special activity days, for example Make a Bag day, or Craft Day.
New for 2015 are one day workshops in slipper making, needle felting, paper and fabric flowers, shoulder bag to name a few. Details are on my website www.the-sewingbarn.co.uk

The workshop has six large tables that comfortably seat two people while still giving them ample room for equipment and sewing projects. In addition there is a cutting table, higher than the work tables, ideal for curtain making or basting a quilt also if you suffer from backache it is the ideal height to work at.
I also offer a made to measure curtain and blinds service. I can visit your home to take measurements and provide advice, curtains delivered and hung if required.
Children's craft birthday parties are also provided, T shirt dyeing, papier mache mask making and decorating, paper craft, felt craft are a few ideas available. Prices start at £15 per child and includes food and all materials for 2 hours of creative fun.
I also offer Crafty Hen Parties, minimum number 8 hens, crafts include, paper and fabric flowers, lots of paper crafts, felt crafts - brooches, heart garlands, small quilt for the bride to be and many other ideas. Finger buffet or high quality snacks can be provided.
There is plenty of free parking and free beverages during the classes.
