What we see is a mass of social problems locally and nationally – but with no solution.

People are blind to what is in front of them. Remember the Facebook video of the world-renowned violin payer Joshua Bell busking and being ignored by passing commuters?

This is because people are indifferent to what is happening around them, don't want to risk engaging, to enjoy, get involved - or to try and make things better.

The reality is though change is entirely possible and images can be part of changing attitudes and driving change

That’s why I set up The Photographic Voice CIC, which will drive social change for disadvantaged communities through photography. We will empower disadvantaged people to visually shout about the factors that constrain their lives; to drive positive change in their worlds.

We will drive this project with passion, but it will only be successful with the commitment and support of others, so in driving this forward, we are looking for your involvement.
