Green Men & Griffins at St John's Walk 1.95

St John’s Walk, with it’s intriguing carved beams and rafters, links Hereford Cathedral to the college built in medieval times to accommodate the Vicars Choral who sang the daily services.
It has been used daily by residents, choristers, visitors, and Cathedral staff for over 500 years. With funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund it has now been completely restored. Archaeological finds made during the works have revealed intriguing insights into the history of the Walk and the daily lives of the previous inhabitants of the College.
