Merrow LTC was founded in 1923 in Guildford by the North Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has had a steadily growing membership since then, with every member adding to the Club's history.

Now we have 6 high-quality all-weather, floodlit courts, c. 300 members and a thriving, competitive community from Guildford and surrounding towns. Our goal is to encourage, facilitate and improve the playing of tennis in Guildford, helping members of all ages and stages discover the life-long benefits of tennis.

Our facilities additionally include an equipped Club House with changing rooms, showers, kitchen, bar, terrace, TV, WiFi, ball machine, and car parks.

We are proud to have attracted top-level coaches over the years who also share our vision for the development of tennis in the community, and run a wide range of coaching programmes to help everyone improve their game.

We have recently entered into a relationship with Premier Tennis, led by their Tennis Director James Auckland, Guildford resident and former British No.1 in Men's Doubles - and former doubles partner of Andy Murray. Premier Tennis is a tennis coaching and management services company dedicated to improving the quality and accessibility of tennis coaching with its partner clubs.
