Little Learners Northampton 3.48

Our Northampton setting is based in a beautiful and unique grade 2 listed building and has some astonishing features which naturally inspire the creative mind! We have been on an incredible journey since first opening our doors in April 2015 and became very popular, very quickly. The true beauty of the building catches the eyes of many, and combined with our unique approach; people fall in love at first sight and children flourish and shine in their wonderful environment.

We have developed a passionate and caring team who love their job and strive for the best. They show incredible dedication and team work and have made a big impression. The Nursery Manager progressed from our Corby nursery having been a big part in seeing our nursery develop from strength to strength. In addition, the nursery is supported by our Operations Manager, Pedagogical Manager and Quality Assurance Manager who are all long serving staff members from our Corby site, and ensure our approach maintains consistency across both sites.

The nursery building is across three floors, however, we only use the ground and first floor for the children’s spaces. All children have regular access to our large outdoor space with preschool children having ‘free flow’ between indoors and outdoors. We are continually developing our outdoor spaces around the children’s likes and fascinations and have a few different areas available, including a secure baby garden and our outdoor classroom which is based in the trees and offers a unique and special learning environment.

Children go for walks around the local community and parks often and we also enjoy visits to the local care home and school. Our closest school is Abington Vale and we enjoy watching some of their Christmas plays and work well with them and all other schools when it comes to transition time.
