In October 2011 Knapps Bistro opened its doors! Every Friday and Saturday evening from 6.00pm-11.00pm, we have an experienced local chef serving quality dishes using freshly prepared ingredients at individual and set 2 or 3 course prices. What’s more the menu changes every 6 weeks to allow customers to savour something different every time they visit!

Our bistro offers customers a comfortable and cosy experience that will appeal to everyone, from the romantic couple to parties of up to 14 (in our private dining room). Our high quality food ensures people return again and again, therefore booking is essential.

For those of you wondering where the name Knapps derives from, the history of the building, which dates back to the 15th century, suggests that the Knapp family were the owners for many years.
