Welcome to JCStrength.

My name is James Coutts, strength and conditioning coach and human performance specialist. My mission is simple, deliver cut throat no nonsense training programs that maximise the potential of every athlete whether they be amateur, semi-pro or professional.

My roots are strongly cemented in sports training and physical culture. I believe that every athlete should have every possible opportunity to maximise their athletic potential. Over the last decade I have worked with a wide range of athletes covering many disciplines including field sport, extreme sport, endurance and crossfit athletes. I work with them all because the needs of athletes differ by degree not kind.

Ongoing Mentorship

To be the best athlete you can be, you need to develop your mindset in tangent with your athletic potential. From my experience it is the single defining characteristic that sets apart the good athletes from the great. It is all to common to see athletes placing self limitations on themselves both physically and mentally. I will provide you with not only the 'tools' but on going mentorship too. I adopt a humanistic approach with all my athletes. As a coach, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing my athlete's conquer their 'demons' and triumph on their chosen field of battle.

Hard work and consistency are the two pillars for any athlete worth their salt. Your athletic potential is worth nothing unless YOU personally act upon it.
