I hope this page will help you find out about the therapies I offer. I work in an Integrated way, using a Person-Centred approach which is influenced by Gestalt Psychotherapy. I offer Rewind Trauma Therapy which offers a way of permanently stopping distressing, involuntary recall in a short course of sessions. It is invaluable in treating trauma such as memories of military action, rape, assault, murder, burglary, accidents, and other trauma (including eyewitness trauma), and PTSD. I offer bereavement counselling - I have worked as a volunteer counsellor in the Department of Psychological Medicine at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where I counsel patients suffering from Traumatic/Complicated Grief. I offer counselling for children and young people - I am currently employed as Counsellor in a FE College. I have also been appointed by the NHS to run smoking cessation workshops.
Prior to that, I worked for over 20 years as a teacher in secondary education. I also have 4 children of my own.
Appointments are on SATURDAYS.
