Granby Stables, Sunniside 3.05

Granby Stables in Streetgate, Sunniside is a small family run business that has been operating since 2002. The family previously worked the land as a mixed farm with no equine facilities. Over the past 11 years the land has been upgraded to two small livery yards with 20 stables and 30acres of grazing, grass arena, cross country jumps, hard standing parking for cars and horseboxes, feed rooms, a caravan that has a kitchen, toilet and living area and extra storage buildings. We have 14x12, 12x12, 10x10 and 9x10 stables and offer DIY, Part or Full Livery.

All horses are turned out in fields that are highly maintained by ourselves. In the winter horses have turnout during the day, whilst in the summer owners have the option of leaving their horses out overnight. All individual requirements are catered for.

For those that enjoy hacking, Granby Stables is adjacent to the Tanfield Railway Path, which connects to Watergate Forest Park and the surrounding bridleways and farm land, the Bowes Valley Railway Path and the River Derwent.

The yard is within easy access of the A1, A692 and A693.
