The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand. Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin was filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 30 minutes.
