Edge Hill University Rugby Club (The Beavers) aim to facilitate for the variety of students that come to the University. Some students may just want to learn the basics of the sport, playing socially in order to meet new people; whilst others will want to perform to a higher standard, training throughout the week and playing on a Wednesday. As a club we are constantly looking to grow and develop, working our way up the leagues, as well as taking into consideration future plans. In the last few years our first team have been promoted up into the BUCS Northern 2A league where we finished 4th, as well as reaching the last 16 in the Northern Conference Cup.
