Dancemakers Kent is a dance school based right in the centre of Faversham, Kent, and holds classes throughout the week. Dance for exercise or just for pleasure - whatever the occasion Dancemakers is the place for you.

The school specialises in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance for all levels from 2 1/2 years to 18 years.

The school aims to encourage to enjoy and achieve and express themselves in a supportive and friendly environment.

Dancemakers was created to inspire, reach and unite and give all students the chance to be creative and expressive whilst being educated in the world of dance. We seek to promote the value and self-esteem of each and every individual within the school.

A dance school which caters for and values children who just love to dance. All pupils are encouraged to take part in Dancemaker's annual show that takes place in Faversham.

The school is run by Katie McKeiver who has 30 years of experience as a dance teacher. She started dancing at the age of three and when she was 17 she auditioned and gained entrance to the Hammond School, Chester where she undertook a three year dance teaching course where she gained teaching certificates under the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Dance.

Katie went on to teach in Europe and Canada and in 1990 established Dancemakers in Faversham.
