CSSK - Cardiff Shotokan School Of Karate 2.1

CSSK has been training students for the past 30 years and have been known to produce high quality students who have taken their Karate further afield. The instructor, Sensei Owen Sumner, started martial arts at the age of 8. He started off in Judo, moving across to Shotokan once he reached 12. After 46 years of training and teaching (And becoming a former Welsh Karate champion and squad member along the way) he now focuses his time and efforts of developing key attributes in his students.
Discipline, fitness, strength, focus and awareness are but a few of these attributes. Training takes place in Pentwyn Lesuire Centre between 4.00pm and 5.00pm Tuesdays and Fridays in the community room, with plans to increase this as the year progresses. There is no age limit, but due to a recent increase in demand, we usually cater for students from the ages of 5 - 16.
