Welcome to Blackburn College University Centre Library! Here's the official blurb: "At the heart of student learning is the Beacon Centre Library and together with the three Learning Resource Centres, provides a wide range of resources, facilities and services to support the information, study and IT needs of staff and students. - The Beacon Centre Library is in the new Beacon Centre building on the ground floor. It has text books, journals, newspapers, DVDs and access to online resources through the College’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which will help you with your studies, including:

* 60,000 books/DVDs/etc.
* 180 journals, 30 of which are also available online
* A range of online databases/journals
* 3,000 full text journals electronically via the Infotrac database
