At present i own 6 dogs of varying ages and breeds.
I have always been part of a dog owning family so have been involved in all aspects of dog care. All dogs have lived happily in the house, varying in numbers, and varying in ages.
I have helped to train the dogs in basic obedience and manners, enabling them to fit happily within the household.
I have trained several dogs in agility and have had the pleasure of gaining awards in both agility and jumping classes. I have achieved grade 4 with my 9 year old collie.
I am at present working with my two young collies, we are working on basic obedience and confidence along with agility training,
I am hoping to get these two out competing in the 2016 season.
I have taken on puppies, rescue dogs and private rehoming dogs, all have been challenging but very rewarding.
I have fostered several dogs from owners who were finding 'issues' hard to deal with. I have worked with these dogs and helped to rehome them with a suitable family. 2 of these dogs have stayed with me.

I have recently enrolled on a Canine behaviour training course endorsed by the Centre of excellence.
I am due to enrol on a distance learning accredited course covering Canine care and welfare. This is offered by Reaseheath College, I can choose several modules to top up this course. These include dog training theory and canine psychology and behaviour.
I believe that all dogs should be trained and socialised from an early age to enable them to become well rounded and happy dogs. I believe in reward based trained where a dog should want to work for the owner and a bond is formed.
I love helping other owners achieve success and a happy dog/owner relationship.
