Look no further! With over 30 years of experience creating costumes for Film, TV and Theatre, as well as making and altering hundreds of bridal gowns, Annie McCarthy is just the lady you're looking for.

In her home based studio in Frome, Annie is ready to give her friendly, personalised service and advise. Formally trained in Australia in pattern making, garment assembly and design, her motto is "fit is everything" She says "It doesn't matter if you buy expensive designer labels or charity shop chic, if th efits wrong, then it just won't work. I alter almost everything I buy in some way to get the look just right"

As well as alterations, Annie offers a bespoke service, making garments to the client's design.The process involves discussing the right fabric choice to suit the client's design, taking measurements and developing patterns that will fit the client.

There are usually 3 to 5 fittings to get it just right. It's important to Annie that each person takes away somethig they will wear and treasure.
