Lao Suea Kok District 2

Lao Suea Kok is a district in the northern part of Ubon Ratchathani Province, northeastern Thailand.HistoryLao Suea Kok was separated from Mueang Ubon Ratchathani district to create a minor district on April 30, 1994.Following a decision of the Thai government on May 15, 2007, all of the 81 minor districts were to be upgraded to full districts. With the publishing in the Royal Gazette on August 24 the upgrade became official.GeographyNeighboring districts are Phana of Amnat Charoen Province, Trakan Phuet Phon, Don Mot Daeng, Mueang Ubon Ratchathani and Muang Sam Sip of Ubon Ratchathani Province.AdministrationThe district is subdivided into 4 subdistricts, which are further subdivided into 53 villages . There are no municipal areas, and 3 Tambon administrative organizations .
