Singapore LIONS Soccer School 2.5

Singapore Lions Soccer was set up with a mission of igniting the passion for soccer for all kids from the ages of 4 to 14 years to the same way we feel about this sport.

We keep it specific and simple here where lessons are crafted for the kid to enjoy learning the topic for the day.They are guided through their lessons with demonstrations and verbal/non verbal feedback from our specialist group of coaches.

With our inclusive and fun training lesson plans ,no kid with varying abilities will find it a bore or too much to cope.

Classes are grouped according to this student to coach ratio:

Under 5 years old:

2 coaches:8 kids

Under 8 years old:

2 coaches:10 kids

Under 11 years old:

2 coaches:12 kids

Under 14 years old:

2 coaches:12 kids


With this coaching ratio,no kid will be left idling around as they will be constantly guided with coaching styles adopted by our school.Please refer below.

There are perhaps three coaching styles used here at Sg Lions Soccer School - autocratic (do as I say), democratic (involve the kids in decision making) and laissez faire.

There is little direction from a "Laissez fair" coaching style as this style allows the group to do what they want to and it is mainly noticeable during their breaks where the kids are allowed to express themselves on the ball.

Coaches will use a variety of coaching styles depending on the coaching situation and age group.

ALL FIRST TIME CLASSES ARE FREE but we do accept donations if you don't want it free.:)

*Please note that this is a developmental school and while we do participate in competitions for the Under 10s/12S and 14S ,our main aim is participation,enrichment and enjoyment of this sport and it is in no way result oriented or compulsory to join.

*If you do feel that your child is already very good at this sport then we would recommend checking out other soccer schools around Singapore.

*Our coaches here are not Singapore soccer idols and we are not affiliated to the National team.

All coaches here are certified and are selected to coach at this school after several observations and have years of coaching and playing experience under their resumes.

Singapore Lions Soccer School also provides 1 on 1 coaching sessions for accelerated improvements or inclusive programs for kids with special needs.

We are currently fully booked for soccer themed B'day parties on the weekends but feel free to drop us a message to discuss an alternative slot or timing after March 2016.
