We believe in restoring full body function to treat painful conditions and get people back to a lifestyle they choose to enjoy.
We use a variety of techniques, ranging from joint manipulation/ mobilisation, massage techniques, trigger point, ultrasound, electrotherapy and prescriptive exercise and education to achieve this.
Our initial goal is to get you out of pain but our belief is that pain or injury can only be fully treated if the contributory and compensatory factors are also treated. We treat each individual as just that, an individual. We treat the condition by treating the mechanics and body systems of the person in front of us. We do not believe in treating generically as each person has their own goals in life and have their own unique physical needs to achieve that.
Each of our patients will receive a full body assessment to determine what factors are contributing or compensating to the present condition. We consider previous injuries as a possible cause of a present condition; we regularly use MRI and x-ray scans to determine the cause and most appropriate way to proceed with treatment; and we have enormous experience treating high quality competitors in various sports, most notably: rock climbers, golfers, MMA/martial arts competitors, runners, tennis players, footballers, cyclists, dancers, rugby players, swimmers and weight lifters. The treatments and education are then designed to give you maximum function and maximum life enjoyment by keeping you pain free.
