At Proverbs 1,5 we cater to help our young teens in their academic pursuit. We offer guidance to help develop them into independent learners. While we still focus on academic subjects, we aim to guide them to develop to be confident, thinking learners.

Centre 4 Learning@Proverbs 1,5 intends to create a conducive environment for learning, so we try to move away from traditional classroom setup into a modern and captivating environment.

Our approach:

· Small group mentoring to cater for individual differences

· Conducive and enriching learning classroom environment

· Incorporating learning strategies and metacognitive strategies within the subjects

· Interactive and discussion-based approaches to help develop problem solving skills

· Develop academic content to help in solving application problems

· Use of technology to enhance learning experience



About us:

We are a team of educators who believe in nurturing our young teens by providing opportunities to help them in learning. Students are welcome to self-study at the study corner we provided and we even intend to open our centre beyond operating hours to allow them to study nearer examination periods. Our spaces are designed to cater for different individual learning styles of our young teens.

Our approach to teaching is based on discussion, collaboration and problem solving. We shall also expose the teens to techniques to self-monitor their learning and apply thinking strategies in their content learning.
